According to OPP officials, officers were dispatched to the area around Englehart High School following a report that raised concerns. As a precautionary measure, a visible police presence was established to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community. The school was placed under a hold-and-secure protocol during the height of the incident, restricting entry and exit to the building while police conducted their investigation.
