Perth Homicide: One Charged, Two Wanted for Murder

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 46-year-old man from Perth with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the death of Christo Allison Richards, 34, who was found with life-threatening injuries at a park in mid-April.

Charges and Arrest Warrants

Michael Lewis remained in custody and was scheduled to appear in court in Perth, according to an OPP media release dated May 12. The police also issued arrest warrants for two other men on charges of second-degree murder: Joseph Madore, 34, and Brayton Kennedy, 28, both of Ottawa.

Public Assistance Requested

The OPP is seeking public assistance in locating Madore and Kennedy. Investigators believe Madore is currently in British Columbia, while Kennedy may be travelling with Madore or still in the Ottawa area. Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately.

The Incident

On Sunday, April 12, at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers from the Lanark County detachment of the OPP responded to Last Duel Park in Perth, where one person was found with life-threatening injuries. Christo Allison Richards, 34, of Ottawa, was transported to a trauma centre and later pronounced deceased.
