Ottawa Police Seek Help in Assault on Two Women

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect following an assault on two women that occurred in February 2026. The incident took place on Riverside Drive, and authorities are hoping that someone may have information that could lead to an arrest.

Details of the Incident

According to a news release issued on May 11, at approximately 1:05 p.m. on February 2, two elderly women were walking in the 2200 block of Riverside Drive when they were approached by an individual. Both women, one of whom was using a walker, were assaulted before the suspect fled the scene on foot. One of the victims sustained minor injuries.

Suspect Description

The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 20 and 25 years, with a thin build. At the time of the assault, he was wearing sunglasses, a dark tuque, a blue and green jacket, dark pants, and mismatched shoes—one black and one white.
