Megyn Kelly Accuses Trump of Serial Cheating, Resurfaces Rape Allegation
Megyn Kelly Levels Vicious Accusations Against Trump

Megyn Kelly leveled a series of harsh personal accusations against President Donald Trump during an unfiltered podcast appearance, alleging he is a serial cheater and resurfacing a rape allegation that his first wife, Ivana Trump, made and later retracted.

The former Fox News anchor made the remarks on the Friday episode of the "Hodgetwins Podcast," criticizing Trump for attacking former counterterrorism chief Joe Kent for remarrying "fairly quickly" after being widowed in 2019.

"Talk about a glass house!" Kelly said, referring to Trump's taunts about Kent marrying Heather Kaiser Kent four years after his first wife, Navy officer Shannon Kent, died in combat in 2019.

"I mean, Trump has cheated on every wife he's had," the conservative firebrand claimed. "I mean, he met Marla Maples while he was still married to the mother of his children, Ivana. It was all over the New York papers ... Like he was proud of the affair!"

Kelly then brought up one of the more serious accusations against Trump, telling the conservative comedy siblings Keith and Kevin Hodge: "And by the way, Ivana, his first wife, accused him of raping her" — an allegation the late Mrs. Trump later retracted.

In a sworn deposition during their bitter divorce proceedings in 1990, Ivana Trump described a violent sexual encounter with her then-estranged husband that allegedly occurred in 1989 after he underwent a painful scalp reduction surgery. Though she used the word rape under oath, she later recanted after the accusation appeared in the 1993 book "Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump." In a statement provided by her ex-husband's lawyers, she said she "felt violated" but did not "want [her] words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense."

When the allegation resurfaced during Trump's first presidential campaign in 2015, Ivana Trump further minimized her accusation, dismissing it as "totally without merit."

Kelly acknowledged the claim as unconfirmed, adding, "I don't know whether that's true or not, but just saying, clearly not a great relationship there."

She then turned to Trump's third marriage to model and first lady Melania Trump, saying, "If you think Trump's been faithful to Melania, that's great. You've got bigger issues than I can solve here."

The first lady addressed rumors of infidelity in 2018 following Trump's criminal case over an alleged "hush money" scheme to keep porn actor Stormy Daniels from going public about an alleged sexual encounter in 2006. Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records over $130,000 paid by his lawyer Michael Cohen, though Trump claims he was unaware of the arrangement.

"It is not a concern and focus of mine," Melania Trump said during a 2025 interview with "Good Morning America." "I'm a mother and a first lady and I have much more important things to think about and to do. I know people like to speculate and the media like to speculate about our marriage."
