The victims are Louwanda Elliot, 49, and her two daughters, Mackayla Elliot, 17, and Nikita Elliot, 15. The Brockville Police Service released the names of the victims on Wednesday, May 13, after notifying next of kin. The three were found deceased in a residence on the morning of May 7, prompting a major investigation. The Elliot family was well-known in the Brockville area. Friends and neighbors have expressed shock and grief over the loss. Mackayla and Nikita were students at Brockville Collegiate Institute and were involved in extracurricular activities.
