Windsor police seek arson suspect after $1M house fire

Windsor police have released a surveillance image of a suspect wanted in connection with an intentionally set residential fire that caused more than $1 million in damage. The fire occurred in the 1100 block of Drouillard Road.

Fire broke out in early morning

According to police, officers responded to a report of an active fire at a multi-unit residence shortly after 3 a.m. on June 20, 2026. Windsor Fire & Rescue Services attended the scene and extinguished the blaze. The residence was vacant at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Damage to the property is estimated at $1 million, police said. The Windsor Police Arson Unit determined the fire was intentionally set and obtained a surveillance image of a suspect seen at the property shortly before the fire started.

Police seek public assistance

Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the immediate area to review any surveillance or dashcam footage recorded between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. on June 20, 2026, for evidence that may assist the investigation.
