New Sketch of Orléans Sex Assault Suspect Released

Ottawa police have issued a new composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault that occurred on June 21 at Heritage Dog Park in Orléans.

Incident Details

The alleged attack took place at approximately 4 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon at the large park located at 6160 Orléans Boulevard. Police have released few additional details about the incident.

Suspect Description

The suspect is described as a Black man in his late 20s or early 30s, standing between five feet nine inches and six feet two inches tall, with a fit, muscular build. He has a gap in his front teeth and shoulder-length locs-style hair. Police also noted that the suspect may have a “wandering eye” medical condition.

The suspect spoke English with no noticeable accent and was wearing beige or light-colored clothing along with a headband.

Police Warning and Appeal

“If you see the suspect, do not approach him and call 911,” police said in a release. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
