Amsterdam startup Dashmote has launched Watch Party Radar, a free interactive map that tracks World Cup screenings and watch parties across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The map is updated daily and will continue listing venues and events through the World Cup final on July 19.
How the Map Works
Users can search for venue and event descriptions, special offers, and watch parties at hundreds of locations across the GTA. The map also allows fans to filter by team, making it easy to find venues supporting a specific country.
According to the Toronto Sun, the map is free to use and aims to help soccer fans ensure they don’t miss out on the festivities.
Key Match: Portugal vs. Croatia
Toronto has come alive for this year’s World Cup, with thousands of fans from around the world gathering to cheer on their teams, especially on game days at Toronto Stadium (BMO Field). A particularly anticipated match is the round of 32 clash between Portugal and Croatia on Thursday.
