FIFA World Cup 2026 May Disrupt Mail Service in Toronto

Canada Post has alerted residents in certain Toronto neighborhoods to expect possible delays in mail delivery during the FIFA World Cup 2026 events. Event Schedule and Affected Areas

The FIFA Fan Festival will run daily from June 11 to July 19, operating from as early as 10:30 a.m. until midnight. The match days and start times are as follows: Friday, June 12 at 3 p.m. (Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina), Wednesday, June 17 at 7 p.m. (Ghana vs. Panama), Saturday, June 20 at 4 p.m. (Germany vs. Cote d'Ivoire, with no mail delivery on Saturdays), Tuesday, June 23 at 7 p.m. (Croatia vs. Panama), Friday, June 26 at 3 p.m. (Senegal vs. Iraq), and Thursday, July 2 at 7 p.m. (Round of 32).

Canada Post emphasized that all efforts will be made to deliver mail on the five weekdays with matches. However, delays or interruptions may affect customers living in postal codes starting with M6K, M6J, and M5V. Any undelivered mail will be securely held at the Canada Post depot and prioritized for delivery the next business day.
