A 27-year-old dirt bike rider has died following an off-road collision in the town of Laurentian Hills, Ontario. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 2, at approximately 4:45 p.m., when police received reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a dirt bike on a snowmobile trail.

First responders, including Renfrew County Paramedic Services and Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, arrived at the scene to find that the dirt bike had struck a tree. Despite life-saving attempts by both bystanders and emergency personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the location.
Laurentian Hills is situated nearly 200 kilometres northwest of Ottawa. The area is known for its off-road trails, which are popular among recreational vehicle users.
