Moxies Launches $5 Frozen Hugo Spritz for Summer 2026

Moxies has announced the launch of a new $5 Frozen Hugo Spritz, available starting July 2, 2026, as part of the brand's Summer Feature Menu. The cocktail blends Absolut Vodka, elderflower, sparkling wine, and lime into an icy, refreshing drink that has been named "The Drink of Summer" by Delish.

Affordable Summer Sipping

The Frozen Hugo Spritz is designed for patio season and offers a light, trendy option at a competitive price point. According to Moxies, it joins the Summer Feature Menu that debuted on May 14, which includes fresh seasonal flavors and limited-time offerings such as the new Sushi by Moxies line, created in partnership with Chef Tom Jeon. The sushi lineup features the Spicy Tuna Dynamite Roll, Miso Tuna Crispy Rice, and Salmon & Prawn Aburi Oshi.

Joanne Forrester, President & Chief Operating Officer of Moxies Restaurants, stated: "Our guests love discovering new cocktails and seasonal favourites, so the Frozen Hugo Spritz is the perfect addition to our summer lineup. It’s refreshing, fun, and made for patio season. At just $5, it also offers great value at a time when many people are looking for affordable ways to get together and make the most of summer."

Building on Cocktail Success

The launch follows the success of Moxies' $5 Espresso Martini, currently the brand's best-selling cocktail. The new Frozen Hugo Spritz aims to replicate that popularity by tapping into the growing trend of frozen cocktails and the spritz category.

Moxies operates 60 locations across North America and is part of family-owned Northland Properties Corporation, which also owns an NHL franchise, two ski resorts, over 200 restaurants, and more than 65 hotels. For more information, visit moxies.ca or follow @moxiescanada on Instagram.
