On Friday morning, teams of 10 gathered at North Bay's Jack Garland Airport for the annual United Way of Northeastern Ontario Plane Pull. The event challenges participants to pull a 30,000-pound aircraft, raising funds for local community initiatives.
Community Spirit on Display
Dozens of teams took part in the strenuous tug-of-war-style competition, demonstrating teamwork and determination. The fundraiser supports United Way's efforts to address poverty, mental health, and other social issues in the region.
