Dynabook Canada Inc. has unveiled the new Portégé X45W, a premium 14-inch 2-in-1 convertible laptop designed to enhance productivity and flexibility in modern work environments. This latest addition expands Dynabook's AMD-powered portfolio, offering customers more choices with AMD Ryzen processors and integrated AMD Radeon graphics.
Key Features and Specifications
The Portégé X45W features a 14-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) 16:10 display with touch and pen support (MPP 2.0). It is powered by AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors and AMD Radeon graphics, ensuring responsive multitasking and content creation. The durable dark blue aluminum alloy chassis meets MIL-STD-810H standards, backed by Dynabook's durability testing.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, 1 Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45), HDMI, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, microSD, and optional Smart Card. The FHD webcam comes with a digital privacy shutter, dual microphones, and collaboration-ready audio. Security features include TPM and Microsoft Pluton, with optional smart card support on build-to-order configurations.
AMD-Powered AI-Ready Productivity
Select configurations of the Portégé X45W-M include an NPU to accelerate on-device AI experiences, such as smarter conferencing, local AI assistants, and content creation while preserving battery life. A dedicated Copilot key provides instant access to Microsoft Copilot.
Flexible 2-in-1 Design
The 360-degree hinge supports laptop, tablet, tent, and presentation modes. The dark tech blue aluminum chassis is both stylish and durable. The laptop includes a spill-resistant backlit keyboard and a glass-feel precision ClickPad.
Enhanced Inking Experience
The MPP 2.0 pen offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt support, and palm rejection. The anti-glare display provides a paper-like writing feel. The pen stores in a built-in holder and charges via USB-C, with one minute of charging delivering up to 2.6 hours of use.
Robust Connectivity
Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) ensure reliable network access. Additional ports include HDMI, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, microSD, and optional Smart Card, making it suitable for business, education, healthcare, and public sector workflows.
