Health Canada has announced a recall of thousands of Zwilling electric kettles due to a potential burn hazard. The recall affects 43,963 units sold in Canada and 113,590 in the United States.
Reason for Recall
The handles on the affected kettles may loosen or break off during use, posing a risk of hot water spilling and causing scalding injuries to users or bystanders, including small children.
Reported Incidents
Zwilling has received 21 incident reports in Canada, with one potential injury, and 96 in the United States, also with one potential injury.

The recalled kettles were sold between February 2020 and February 2026. They are marked with a maximum capacity of 1.5 liters or 10 cups. Affected models include:

What Consumers Should Do
Health Canada advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled kettles and register for a return to obtain a refund.
