The Toronto Sun has been told by sources close to the matter that guards with the city’s contractor Star Security no-showed en masse during the soccer tournament’s first weekend, which involved a high-profile game featuring Canada on June 12.

Changes Coming to Canada’s Disability Tax Credits
As a means to streamline processes and reduce backlogs, Canadians who use disability tax credits (DTC) will see changes in the near future. Starting on July 14, those applying for the DTC will no longer be able to upload applications or other paperwork via the “submit documents” function on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) online portal. Submitting documents online will only be used for existing cases or when requested by a CRA caseworker. Instead, applicants must use a new and dedicated online application form to apply for new DTC cases.
Frank Stronach Found Guilty of Indecent Assault and Sexual Assault
Frank Stronach was found guilty on two of five charges by Superior Court Justice Anne Molloy at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on Friday morning. The Magna International founder was found guilty of indecent assault and sexual assault. His sentencing was delayed until Sept. 17.
