The Calgary Health Foundation's second annual Home Lottery Mountain Edition features a $2.8-million luxury condominium in Canmore's Spring Creek community as the grand prize. The fully furnished two-storey home includes a separate guest suite and $50,000 cash, with ticket sales supporting groundbreaking healthcare research.
Prize Details and Layout
The condominium, located in Mountain Lynx Lodge within Spring Creek, offers a rare dual-living layout. The main residence spans 1,500 square feet with an open-concept living area, expansive windows, a gourmet kitchen, two bedrooms, a deluxe primary suite, and a rundle rock fireplace. The upstairs guest studio adds 625 square feet with its own kitchen, living space, private bath, and fireplace. The home is fully furnished with white oak flooring, leathered quartz countertops, open shelving, and black and champagne bronze fixtures.
Both units are eligible for short-term rental through Spring Creek Vacations, the community's on-site rental management company. Shannon MacMillan, director of marketing and communications for the Calgary Health Foundation, described the home as "one of our most unique yet," adding that it "offers flexibility to the winner to use it in any number of ways."
Community and Location
Spring Creek is a master-planned community steps from Canmore's main street, offering walkable access to restaurants, breweries, cafes, and boutiques. Within the community, residents find three hotels—The Malcolm Hotel, and two under construction: The Alexander Hotel and Spa and the Franklin Hotel—along with creekside pathways, landscaped public spaces, pedestrian bridges, and a mix of luxury condominiums, villas, and custom homes. The lottery home is in Mountain Lynx Lodge, designed with expansive glazing and natural stone and timber accents.
The team at Spring Creek Developments, led by Frank Kernick, stated: "Community is at the heart of everything Spring Creek stands for, and it's what drives us to invest in the people and organization that make our region thrive. We're thrilled to be involved with the Calgary Health Foundation Lottery." This marks the second consecutive year Spring Creek has partnered in the lottery.
Supporting Healthcare Innovation
Proceeds from the Home Lottery Mountain Edition fund critical healthcare research and innovation through the Calgary Health Foundation. The foundation holds three home lotteries annually, with this mountain edition highlighting the region's natural beauty while driving medical advancements.
