London residents can expect a rainy Friday before conditions improve for a sunny weekend, according to CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. The forecast calls for showers throughout Friday, with clearing skies arriving by Saturday morning.
Friday Forecast
Rain is expected to persist across the London region on Friday, with accumulations of 10 to 15 millimetres possible. Temperatures will hover near 20 degrees Celsius, with winds light from the south. By evening, the rain will taper off as a cold front moves through.
Weekend Outlook
Saturday will bring sunny skies and a high of 24 degrees Celsius, with light winds. Sunday continues the trend with sunshine and a high near 26 degrees. Overnight lows will drop to around 12 degrees both nights. Atchison noted that the weekend will be ideal for outdoor activities, with no significant precipitation expected.
“After a damp Friday, we’re looking at a beautiful weekend across the region,” Atchison said. “Temperatures will be seasonal, and plenty of sunshine will make for perfect conditions to enjoy the outdoors.”
Looking Ahead
Monday will start sunny but clouds may increase by afternoon, with a slight chance of showers. Temperatures will remain warm, near 25 degrees. The pattern suggests a return to unsettled weather by midweek.
Residents are advised to plan for rain on Friday and take advantage of the sunny weekend for any outdoor plans. No weather warnings are in effect for the region.
