Stunt Driving Laws in Ontario

Stunt driving in Ontario includes excessive speeding, racing, and other dangerous maneuvers. Penalties include immediate licence suspension, vehicle impoundment, and fines up to $10,000. The presence of the beaver added an unusual element to the stop.

“We see a lot of things during traffic stops, but a baby beaver is definitely a first,” an OPP spokesperson said. The animal was handed over to licensed wildlife rehabilitators for assessment and eventual release.
