Bystanders recovered the body of a drowned man in Gravenhurst, Ontario, on Monday, according to local paramedics. The incident occurred in the Muskoka region, a popular tourist area known for its lakes and waterways.

Emergency services were called to the scene after reports of a person in distress in the water. Bystanders pulled the man from the water before paramedics arrived, but he could not be revived. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
