Bush and Nelly Headline Caesars Windsor This Summer
British rock band Bush is set to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor on July 23, while rap superstar Nelly has rescheduled his show for September 10. The announcements were made by Caesars Windsor on April 29.
Bush, a staple in the music industry for three decades, boasts 28 Top 40 hits and over 25 million records sold worldwide. Their well-known songs include Glycerine, Machinehead, and Comedown, which have become classics on radio and in film. The band's tenth studio album, I Beat Loneliness, features the hit The Land of Milk and Honey. Rolling Stone magazine described the album as "post-grunge at its best with a high nostalgia factor."
Canadian artist JJ Wilde will join Bush as a special guest. Wilde made history as the first female artist to simultaneously top all three Canadian rock charts with her debut single The Rush. She followed up with consecutive number one hits Best Boy and Mercy. In 2021, Wilde won the JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year for Ruthless, becoming the first woman to achieve this since Alanis Morissette.
The show starts at 8 p.m.
Caesars Windsor also announced that Nelly's original concert date of July 16 has been moved to September 10. The three-time Grammy Award-winning rap superstar, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and actor will perform at 8 p.m.
No reason was provided for the date change, but Caesars Windsor confirmed that tickets purchased for the original show remain valid for the new date. Guests unable to attend the rescheduled show can request a refund through the original point of purchase until May 27.
