The Strokes, Jack White, and SOMBR Announce Toronto Concerts After Coachella
Strokes, Jack White, SOMBR Set Toronto Shows Post-Coachella

Following their standout performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival's opening weekend, three prominent musical acts have confirmed they are bringing their talents to Toronto for highly anticipated concerts later this year. The Strokes, Jack White, and rising indie star SOMBR have all announced tour stops in the city, marking a significant post-festival schedule for Canadian music fans.

The Strokes Headline RBC Amphitheatre with New Album

New York-based rock band The Strokes, who took the Coachella stage on Saturday, April 11, 2026, will perform at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto on June 21. The show will feature openers Thundercat and Hamilton Leithauser, adding to the excitement for attendees. This concert coincides with the release of their upcoming album, Reality Awaits, scheduled for June 26. The band's first single from the album, Going Shopping, debuted last week, offering a preview of their new sound.

Reality Awaits was recorded in Costa Rica with renowned producer Rick Rubin and completed in various locations worldwide. It represents the band's first new music since their 2020 album, The New Abnormal. In addition to the Toronto date, The Strokes have only one other Canadian stop planned: an August 27 performance at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Jack White Announces Summer Tour with New Music

Jack White, who delivered a surprise set at Coachella on Saturday, will play at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto on July 14. His performance will be supported by the microtonal space-time voyagers Angine de Poitrine. This newly announced date is part of a broader summer tour that includes previously scheduled headline shows and festival appearances across Europe and the United States.

The tour follows the premiere of two new songs: Derecho Demonico and G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs. These tracks mark White's first new music since 2024, when he released his sixth studio album, No Name, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2025. White and his longtime live band—Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass, and Bobby Emmett on keys—recently performed both songs during their sixth appearance on NBC's Saturday Night Live.

In addition to his musical endeavors, White released a book titled Jack White Collected Lyrics and Selected Writing Volume 1 in October 2025. Vault presales and artist presales for his North American, U.K., and Ireland dates began on Monday, with general ticket sales starting Friday at livenation.com. SOMBR Brings Fall Arena Tour to Scotiabank Arena

New York City's rising indie-rock and power-pop artist SOMBR, who performed at Coachella with special guest Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, will headline Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on November 16. This show is part of his You Are The Reason fall arena tour, with opening acts Hannah Jadagu and Dove Cameron. The only other Canadian date on the tour is September 29 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, featuring The Hellp and Interpol as openers.

SOMBR, whose real name is Shane Boose, is set to release a new single titled Potential on Thursday. This follows his previous hit, Homewrecker, which became his fifth entry on the Billboard Global 200, fourth on the Hot 100, and his highest first-week debut to date. Since his breakthrough in 2025 with the song Back to Friends from his debut studio album I Barely Know Her—which includes hits like Undressed and fan favorite 12 to 12—SOMBR has dominated global charts and airwaves.

Artist presales for SOMBR's tour begin on Tuesday at 10 a.m., with general tickets available on Friday at livenation.com. Additional details can be found at sombrmusic.com/#tour.
