Calgary Stampede 2026 Music Guide: Top Acts and Venues

The Calgary Stampede returns to Calgary from July 3 to 12, and with it comes musical performances throughout the city. From country to EDM and everything in between, there is something for everyone. Here is a guide to music during The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

Roundup MusicFest

Roundup MusicFest has released its lineup with an expanded two-day format for the very first time, featuring musical guests spanning multiple genres. The music festival will return to Prince's Island Park on July 8 and 9, with gates opening at 3 p.m. both days. The lineup includes 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Billy Idol and rock icon David Lee Roth headlining on July 8. The rockers will be joined by Canadian talent including nine-time Juno Award nominees Sloan and classic rock group Toque.

Grammy-nominated indie-pop group Foster the People will headline night two on July 9, alongside alt-rock band Grouplove, Canadian indie-rock band The New Pornographers, and Alberta's own The Royal Foundry.

"Having celebrated our 25th anniversary last year, The Roundup MusicFest has built a legacy as one of Calgary's premier outdoor music festivals," said Sarah Geddes, Communications Director for The Roundup MusicFest in a news release. "With our new expanded format, we're bringing an even bigger lineup of iconic, era-defining bands to the Prince's Island main stage over two unforgettable days that Calgarians won't want to miss!"

The after party with free entry for concert-goers will be held at Wildhorse Saloon. Visitors to Roundup MusicFest must be 18 years or older to attend.

Scotiabank Saddledome

Two global artists will bring performances to the Scotiabank Saddledome as part of the Calgary Stampede Concert Series: A$AP Rocky and Alanis Morissette. Hip hop artist A$AP Rocky will perform on July 4 at 7:30 p.m. He has amassed over 25.7 billion total streams to date and co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala. He has also helped launch the careers of notable artists such as Playboi Carti, slowthai, and Smooky MarGielaa.

Canadian music icon Alanis Morissette will perform at the Saddledome on July 11 at 7:30 p.m. Morissette's career dates back to the 1990s, with her album Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995, becoming one of the bestselling albums of all time, earning her five Grammy Awards and six Juno Awards. Tickets to both shows include admission to the Stampede on the day of the concert.

Coca-Cola Stage

Free with admission and located inside Stampede grounds, the Coca-Cola Stage features live musical performances throughout the day, with a mix of rock, hip hop, pop, and EDM. This year's lineup features Alessia Cara, All Time Low, Ashe, Ayra Starr, Chingy, deadmau5, Fridayy, Jonah Kagen, Mother Mother, Our Lady Peace, The Beaches, and more.
