WIFF Under the Stars: Free Film Marathon Returns to Windsor

Movie enthusiasts in Windsor can rejoice as the free outdoor cinema experience returns to downtown. The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) is hosting its annual WIFF Under the Stars event, a three-day film marathon that promises entertainment for all ages.

Event Details

WIFF Under the Stars takes place on the front lawn of the International Aquatic and Training Centre, located at 421 Riverside Dr. W. The event runs from Friday morning until Sunday night, with movies playing continuously from 9 a.m. to midnight, regardless of weather conditions. Admission is free, and no registration is required.

Vincent Georgie, WIFF's executive director, described the event as "the perfect way to kick off the summer." He noted that the relaxed atmosphere, with no ticket registration, encourages people to simply show up with lawn chairs, blankets, or just sit on the grass and enjoy the films.
