Montreal Comiccon has officially unveiled its first wave of celebrity guests and programming details for the highly anticipated 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from July 3 to 5 at the Palais des congrès. This three-day event promises an unparalleled celebration of pop culture, featuring extensive programming, shopping opportunities, gaming activities, cosplay events, and celebrity appearances that will captivate fans from across Canada and beyond.
Three Floors of Pop Culture Immersion
The event will span three distinct floors of the Palais des congrès, each dedicated to different aspects of the pop culture experience:
- Second Floor: This level houses a massive 200,000-square-foot market area featuring specialty retailers offering collectibles, toys, mangas, books, and various merchandise. An Artist Alley will showcase unique work from local and international creators, while the Celebrity Photo Ops area allows fans to purchase professional photo opportunities with their favorite stars directly within the exhibit hall.
- Fifth Floor: Dedicated to panels and stage appearances, this floor will host celebrity guest presentations, Saturday evening's popular costume contest known as The Masquerade, and the 2026 Canada Cosplay Championship (Cosplay-Eh!) finale on Sunday, which will crown Canada's best cosplayers. Additionally, a Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TRPG) section offers adventurers the chance to battle dungeon-dwelling dragons, Cthulian horrors, and other imaginative challenges.
- Seventh Floor: Exclusively reserved for the Autograph Area, where fans can meet their favorite personalities and purchase autographs, creating memorable interactions with the stars.
