Toronto rapper Drake has given his website a cool new makeover, featuring a chilled-out virtual tour of his Bridal Path mansion, as he continues to promote his forthcoming album, Iceman.
Frozen Mansion Tour
The Hotline Bling hitmaker's website, known as Drake Related, now showcases images of iced-over exteriors and interiors of his multimillion-dollar Toronto property, called The Embassy. One image displays the entranceway with three high-end vehicles parked in the driveway, all covered in ice. Another shows a massive kitchen and dining area with a laptop, also frozen over.
Visitors can virtually tour Drake's closet, bedroom, recording studio 'El Chico Studios', 'Air Drake', and even the pool, all depicted in a frozen state. At El Chico Studios, fans can listen to the Wick Man instrumental from his Scary Hours 3 mixtape and access links to merchandise.
Series of Icy Stunts
The frozen mansion is the latest in a string of below-zero promotions for Iceman. Earlier, Drake had frozen courtside seats at Scotiabank Arena for the Raptors' regular-season finale against the Brooklyn Nets on April 12. He also erected a massive block of ice downtown, which fans chipped away at until police intervened for crowd control.
A controlled video shoot at Downsview Park in North York featured a large explosion, prompting city officials to tighten notification requirements for permitted pyrotechnics. Even the Cleveland Cavaliers got involved, trolling Drake after their Game 7 victory over the Raptors by playing Kendrick Lamar's diss track Not Like Us.
Iceman is due for release on May 15.
