Neighbors called 911 around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday after spotting the home's roof ablaze and suspecting people were inside. The White Bear Lake Fire Department responded swiftly, finding the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately began suppression efforts but discovered Pierce, her two sons, daughter, and their dog deceased at the scene.
