Lara Trump Shuts Down Bizarre Time Travel Claims About Barron Trump
Lara Trump, the Fox News host and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, has addressed a viral yet far-fetched conspiracy theory suggesting that her brother-in-law, Barron Trump, is a time traveler. The theory, which has gained traction online, partly stems from 19th-century novels by Ingersoll Lockwood featuring a character named 'Baron Trump,' which resurfaced during President Donald Trump's first term.
Speaking on her show 'Right View,' Lara Trump expressed astonishment at the popularity of videos exploring this improbable idea. She noted the 'amount of views that some of these videos get where they really dissect how this really worked out.' However, she quickly dismissed the theory, stating, 'I'm not trying to ruin anybody or rain on any parades here. Barron Trump is not a time traveler. Sorry to say it. I'm sorry, I broke a lot of people's hearts today.'
Lara Trump Calls Theory 'Crazy'
Lara Trump, who is married to Eric Trump, described the conspiracy as 'crazy,' arguing it illustrates 'how much really crazy stuff exists.' She challenged viewers to 'name me one time traveler. Name me anybody who actually can say that that's a real thing? It doesn't exist but people have gotten so far off the rails on this 'Barron being a time traveler' thing. I don't know what to tell you. I think it's crazy. I've known Barron for 18 years, OK, he's not a time traveler.'
She added, 'I've seen him grow up, it's crazy stuff, but I think people love to grab on to conspiracies or things that are very far-fetched like that.' Lara Trump went on to compare believers in the time travel theory to those who deny the moon landing or claim the September 11 attacks were an 'inside job.'
Barron Trump's Low Profile
Last week, on the same show, Lara Trump suggested that Barron 'likes to lay low' because he knows 'that there's a lot of interest' in him. 'That's why he likes to play it cool. That's why you don't see him all the time,' she explained. The 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump has largely stayed out of the public eye, fueling speculation and conspiracy theories among internet users.
