Podcaster Kylie Kelce — the wife of former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law of Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce — has responded to inadvertently getting dissed on “Jeopardy!” last week, and her reaction is surprising.

On the April 28 episode — which occurred one day after sweet baby angel super champ Jamie Ding’s 31-day winning streak came to an end — Kelce was the answer to a clue in the “Nearer My Pod To Thee” category. The clue read: “Debuting in 2024, ‘Not Gonna Lie’ stars this future sister-in-law of Taylor Swift.”
Although the clue also included a photo of Kelce, none of the contestants — including Greg Shahade, a chess master from Philadelphia who beat Ding the day before — knew the answer.
After playing a brief clip of the moment on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie” on Thursday, Kelce looked at the camera and said:
“Exactly! Nobody knew it. And that is how I like it. OK? This was a great reference point. People shouldn’t know who I am.”

Kelce went on to say that fans DM’ed her specifically to let her know that Shahade was from Philadelphia.
“I think that people were telling me that as if to be like, everyone from Philadelphia should know you. Wrong,” Kelce quipped.
She then went on to share the awkward way she was initially informed by “Jeopardy!” that she is not necessarily a household name.
Kelce explained that her dad is “randomly good at ‘Jeopardy!’” and was watching the episode when her name was mentioned.
“My dad was very excited to see it,” Kelce said. “He was watching ‘Jeopardy!’ at home by himself when it happened.”
She said that same day, she was dropping her mom off at her parents’ home and “he came bolting out the front door and showed me the video … in my face and said, ‘You gotta see this.’ And I was like, ‘OK. …Perfect. Perfect. Perfect,’ ” she quipped.
Kelce then quickly moved on to a new topic.

Although the Kelces were relatively well known in the sports world, their popularity exploded in 2023 after Swift and Travis Kelce began publicly dating. Kylie Kelce has always been open about not wanting to be uber famous, and admitted on the “Conversations With Cam” podcast in March that she refused to wear her husband’s jersey at games while they were dating to preserve her anonymity.
“I still struggle with it,” Kelce said on the “Conversations with Cam” podcast regarding her complex feelings about craving privacy but still hosting her own podcast.
“There are so many reasons that I have justified doing what I’m doing, and all of them to me are valid and meaningful, and I don’t need to explain that to people,” Kelce said. “But they were going to talk about our family, regardless. So, why not get it straight from the source? Like, I’ll tell you straight up. That’s why the podcast is [called] ‘Not Gonna Lie.’”
