President Donald Trump lashed out at late-night TV hosts yet again — but his choice of words left Jimmy Kimmel more than a little puzzled.
Trump's Truth Social Attack
Trump on Monday took a victory lap in a Truth Social post bragging that he had “taken out” Republicans who were critical of him in primary elections, as well as “REALLY DUMB” Stephen Colbert, whose show was canceled by CBS. Trump also said he had “three more limping Late Night Talk Show Hosts” to go, with Kimmel — who he has frequently attacked — presumably one of them.
Kimmel's Retort
“Limping late-night talk show hosts?” Kimmel asked. “I’m not sure I’d be calling us limping when you got cankles like this, honey.” Trump has swollen ankles, a.k.a. “cankles,” due to a condition called chronic venous insufficiency.

“Look at that. It’s like they put a shoe on a balloon animal made out of sausage links,” Kimmel said. “Shouldn’t the president of the United States have more important things to focus on — like finding a replacement for Milli Vanilli at his Coachella From Hella?”
