Crispin Glover Accused in Disturbing Lawsuit Over Alleged Captivity and Assault

Actor Crispin Glover, known for roles in films like River’s Edge and Back to the Future, is facing serious legal allegations in a lawsuit filed by a former assistant. The 61-year-old actor is accused of holding the woman captive as a "sex slave" in his Los Angeles home, according to court documents obtained by Page Six of the New York Post.

Allegations of Manipulation and Control

The lawsuit, filed by a woman referred to as Jane Doe, claims that in 2024, Glover lured her from the United Kingdom with promises of a job as his assistant in the entertainment industry and a place to live. However, upon relocating to Los Angeles, she alleges she found herself in a disturbing situation where Glover sought to control her actions and track her whereabouts, essentially serving as a live-in girlfriend and sex slave.

The complaint states: "Mr. Glover first lured and manipulated Jane Doe into abandoning her home and belongings in the U.K. for work with him as his assistant... But when Ms. Doe took the bait and uprooted herself and moved to Los Angeles, she found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr. Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live in girlfriend/sex slave."

Escalation to Assault and Legal Battles

When Doe made it clear she would not comply with Glover's demands, the lawsuit alleges he unlawfully evicted her. She further claims that when she attempted to re-enter the home to retrieve her belongings and pet cats, Glover assaulted her by grabbing her neck and choking her in a headlock, leaving a visible wound and scar.

Additionally, Doe alleges that Glover filed a false police report and a fraudulent petition for a restraining order against her. The lawsuit contends that even after these incidents, Glover continued to harass and sexually pursue her.

Glover's Defense and Counterclaims

In response, a representative for Crispin Glover has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "baseless" and defending the actor "in the strongest possible terms." The representative provided a statement to TMZ, asserting that on March 2, 2024, Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence.

The statement reads: "Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe. These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time. Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication."

The case highlights a contentious legal battle with conflicting narratives, as both parties prepare to present their evidence in court. The allegations, if proven, could have significant repercussions for Glover's career and personal life, while the defense aims to clear his name through judicial proceedings.
