Former Brantford Councillor Larry Kings Dies at 78

Brantford, Ontario – Former city councillor Larry Kings has passed away, the City of Brantford announced on Wednesday. Kings served on Brantford city council for more than 20 years, representing Ward 5 from 2003 to 2022. He was 78 years old.

A Life of Public Service

Kings was first elected to council in 2003 and served continuously until his retirement in 2022. During his tenure, he was known for his advocacy on infrastructure, community safety, and support for local businesses. Mayor Kevin Davis praised Kings as a dedicated public servant who always put the community first.

“Larry was a tireless advocate for his constituents and a respected voice at the council table,” Davis said in a statement. “His contributions to Brantford will not be forgotten.”
