RCMP in Saskatchewan are investigating a collision between two semi-trucks on Highway 7 that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. The crash took place near the town of Kindersley, prompting a significant response from emergency services.
Details of the Incident
According to police, the two heavy trucks collided under unclear circumstances around 3:30 PM local time. One of the vehicles ended up in the ditch, while the other came to rest partially on the roadway. Fortunately, neither driver sustained life-threatening injuries, though both were taken to a nearby hospital for assessment.
Fire crews from Kindersley and surrounding areas assisted with the scene, ensuring no fuel leaks or fires occurred. Traffic on Highway 7 was diverted for several hours as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
