According to the OPP, the transport truck ran a red light around 6:10 p.m. on May 28 at the intersection of Highway 11 and Airport Road. The collision involved multiple vehicles, but no serious injuries were reported.

Police say the truck was operating illegally, as it was not authorized to be on that route. The driver has been charged with several offenses under the Highway Traffic Act.

The OPP is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. They have not released the name of the driver pending further investigation.
