TomaGold Reports High-Grade Zinc, Silver, Gold in Initial Chibougamau Drilling
Wide High-Grade Zn, Ag, Au Hits at Berrigan Property

Exploration company TomaGold Corporation has reported highly encouraging initial drill results from its optioned Berrigan property in the prolific Chibougamau mining camp of Québec. The work, conducted on claims held by Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc., has intersected wide zones of zinc, silver, and gold mineralization, signaling a promising start to the program.

Significant Drill Intercepts Reported

According to a press release dated December 22, 2025, TomaGold disclosed assay results from the first holes of its campaign. The standout intersection came from hole TOM-25-009, which cut a broad zone of 6.68% zinc equivalent (1.57 g/t gold equivalent) over 48.05 metres. This wide interval contained notably high-grade sections, including 39.03% ZnEq over 2.90 metres and 21.86% ZnEq over 5.40 metres.

A deeper intercept in the same hole, starting at 244.50 metres depth, returned 5.44% ZnEq over 15.20 metres, including a high-grade core of 25.15% ZnEq over 2.55 metres.

Hole TOM-25-010 also intersected mineralization, reporting 2.67% ZnEq over 48.30 metres, with a higher-grade portion of 12.87% ZnEq over 6.25 metres. The company noted that the reported widths are core lengths, with the true width estimated to be approximately 80 to 85 percent of that figure.

Ongoing Exploration and Next Steps

The current exploration program is far from complete. TomaGold has indicated that five additional drill holes, which targeted lateral and depth extensions of the known mineralized envelope, have been completed and are currently awaiting assay results. This suggests more news from the property could be forthcoming in the near term.

Furthermore, to identify new exploration targets in the vicinity of the current drilling, a Borehole Electromagnetic (EM) Survey is now underway. This geophysical technique is commonly used in base metal exploration to detect conductive sulfide minerals, potentially outlining new zones for future drilling.

Project Background and Location

The Berrigan claims are situated in the historically significant Chibougamau mining camp in northwestern Québec, a region known for its copper and gold deposits. Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc. holds the underlying claims and has optioned them to TomaGold Corporation, which is conducting the exploration work.
