Refined Energy Completes Maiden Drill Program at Dufferin West Uranium Property

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Refined Energy Corp has announced the successful completion of its inaugural drilling campaign at the Dufferin West property, situated within Saskatchewan's renowned Athabasca Basin uranium district. The company's initial exploration program has yielded promising geological intersections that warrant detailed analysis.

Drilling Results and Geological Findings

The maiden drill program, totaling 975 metres across multiple holes, has successfully intersected key geological targets. Drill hole DW26-001 reached the targeted graphitic conductor at 381 metres depth, with associated brecciation observed. The unconformity depth was identified at 332 metres in this hole.

Drill hole DW26-003 proved particularly significant, reaching the unconformity at 312 metres and intersecting two distinct brecciated fault zones. The first zone occurred in sandstone between 104 and 120 metres with associated bleaching, while the second zone was identified in basement rock from 323.7 to 327.1 metres, displaying brecciation and clay gouges.

Program Execution and Strategic Adjustments

The drilling program was completed within budget at approximately $1.7 million. During execution, the company made strategic adjustments based on initial observations. Following geological findings from DW26-001, Refined Energy elected to advance drill hole DW26-003 instead of the originally planned DW26-002. This decision was made to maximize coverage of priority gravity geophysical targets identified within the program area.

DW26-003 specifically tested a significant ground gravity low complemented by a partially overlapping magnetic low, bounded to the east by a magnetic high. This geological configuration represents an important exploration target in uranium prospecting.

Sample Analysis and Next Steps

Core logging and sampling have been completed, with samples submitted to an accredited laboratory for comprehensive geochemical analysis. The company has commissioned rush analysis on select samples from key intervals to expedite evaluation of alteration patterns and potential mineralization vectors.

Mark Fields, Chief Executive Officer of Refined Energy, commented on the program's significance: "The completion of our maiden drill program marks an important milestone for Refined Energy. The ongoing analysis, including rush results, will help determine whether vectors toward uranium mineralization are present and guide next steps at Dufferin West."

Project Background and Ownership

Refined Energy holds an exclusive option to acquire up to a 75% interest in the 10,140-hectare Dufferin Project through a combination of cash payments, share issuances and exploration expenditures. The option agreement with Eagle Plains Resources Ltd, the project operator, was previously announced in company news releases dated February 27, 2024 and August 6, 2025.

The drilling program was designed to test multiple high-priority geophysical and structural targets across the Dufferin West property, integrating electromagnetic conductors, gravity lows, and magnetic features. These geological indicators are commonly associated with uranium mineralization potential in the Athabasca Basin region.

C. C. (Chuck) Downie, P.Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 standards and Vice President for Eagle Plains, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical disclosure contained in this announcement.
