Koryx Copper Corrects Haib Copper Project Drill Results

Koryx Copper S.A. (TSX:KRY.V) (NSX:KYX) (OTCQB:KRYXF) has released corrected assay results from 17 drill holes totaling 5,252 meters, part of the 2026 infill and expansion drilling program at its wholly-owned Haib Copper Project in southern Namibia. The correction addresses an earlier error regarding the timing of an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Correction Details

The company clarified that it does not expect to publish an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Haib Copper Project before mid-2026. Instead, the updated mineral resource estimate and an enhanced process flow sheet will be incorporated into a Pre-feasibility Study scheduled for release before the end of 2026.

Drilling Highlights

The 17 drill holes returned consistent, wide copper intercepts up to 599 meters in width, with copper equivalent grades exceeding the average mineral resource estimate grade. Notable results include:

CEO Commentary

Heye Daun, President and CEO of Koryx Copper, stated: "Operating with 14 drill rigs on site, our geological team has delivered another excellent set of drill results. These 17 drill holes demonstrate the highly consistent nature of the copper mineralization with significant molybdenum and gold byproduct credits and the potential to incrementally increase the average mineral resource grade."

Project Overview

The Haib Copper Project is a large-scale, advanced open-pit sulphide Cu-Mo-Au porphyry deposit with a small oxide cap. The project utilizes a low-risk open pit crushing, milling, and flotation process. It aims for an average annual copper production of 92,000 tonnes per annum in clean concentrate over a 24-year mine life.
