Goliath Reports High-Grade Gold Hits Up To 7.28 g/t Over 8 Meters at BC's Surebet Discovery
High-Grade Gold Hits at BC's Surebet Discovery

Vancouver-based exploration company Goliath Resources Ltd. has announced a series of high-grade gold intercepts from its 2025 drilling campaign at the Surebet discovery, part of the Golddigger Property in British Columbia's prolific Golden Triangle region. The results, released on December 2, 2025, highlight the continued expansion potential of what is shaping up to be a significant new gold system.

Exceptional Drill Results from RIRG Dyke and Bonanza Zone

The company reported assays from ten high-grade holes, with the standout intercept coming from drill hole GD-25-383. This hole intersected 7.28 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) over 8.00 meters, contained within a broader interval of 5.85 g/t Au over 10.00 meters. This mineralization is hosted within an Eocene-aged Reduced Intrusion Related Gold (RIRG) dyke, located approximately 500 meters above the valley floor, and the zone remains open. The intercept included even higher-grade sections, such as 12.75 g/t Au over 4.02 meters.

Other notable results include:

  • GD-25-311: Intersected 15.13 g/t Au over 3 meters in the Bonanza Zone and 2.6 g/t Au over 4.01 meters in the Surebet Zone.
  • GD-25-370: Returned 5.66 g/t Au over 5.05 meters, including 9.24 g/t Au over 3.05 meters, in the Bonanza Zone.
  • GD-25-387: Hit 4.05 g/t Au over 6.13 meters in the Bonanza Zone.
  • GD-25-385: Intersected 6.59 g/t Au over 4 meters in the Surebet Zone.

All reported intercepts are considered to be approximately true width. The assays currently reflect gold values only, with gold equivalent (AuEq) values to be calculated once silver, copper, lead, and zinc assays are received.

A Growing and Open-Ended Gold System

The drilling has successfully expanded the understanding of the Surebet discovery's scale. The Bonanza Zone, characterized by stacked veins dipping southeast, now extends for 1.25 kilometers east-west and 580 meters to the northwest, with both directions remaining open. The higher-up Surebet Zone, with veins dipping southwest, has been confirmed over 1.2 kilometers and is also open for expansion.

The widespread presence of visible gold to the naked eye (VG-NE) in the core underscores the continuity of strong mineralization. Notably, assays are still pending for 70 holes from the 2025 program. Of these, 55 holes (79%) contain up to 12 occurrences of visible gold, indicating a high probability of further positive results.

Significance for the Golden Triangle

The collective results from the extensive 1.8 square kilometer gold system demonstrate desirable continuity, width, and grade across multiple mineralized lodes. Goliath states that the discovery continues to show strong potential to become one of the most significant gold discoveries in the Golden Triangle in many years.

The positive results received to date are providing clear vectors for future drilling, with all major zones remaining open and exhibiting excellent expansion potential. The company's ongoing work at the Golddigger Property is being closely watched by the mining industry as it develops a new, high-grade asset in one of Canada's most famous gold districts.
