Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT) (OTCQX: GOTRF) (FSE: B4IF) has announced the mobilization of its 2026 drill campaign at the Surebet discovery on its 100% owned Golddigger Property in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia. The fully funded program includes approximately 50,000 meters of systematic drilling designed to expand known mineralization laterally and to depth, as well as test for the Motherlode Magmatic Gold Feeder Source.
Expansion Drilling Targets
Expansion drilling will focus on extending the footprint of the Bonanza Zone and Golden Gate Zone to the East, Northeast, and Southwest. Additionally, the Surebet Zone will be expanded to the West, and other gold-rich mineralized lodes and veins that remain open will be tested. The Bonanza Zone can be traced on surface for approximately 3 kilometers along the north slope, with potential extensions of 1.3 kilometers to the Northeast and 600 meters to the Southwest. The Surebet Zone extends 1.1 kilometers along the north slope and 1 kilometer along the south slope.
Motherlode Feeder Source Testing
Additional drilling will be allocated to test a magnetic anomaly in the southwestern part of the system. This anomaly is spatially associated with lithological and structural datasets and strongly indicates the presence of a Motherlode causative magmatic intrusion gold feeder source.
Drilling Results and Significance
Every drill hole completed from 2021 to 2025 within the 1.8 square kilometer Surebet discovery has successfully intersected gold mineralization. These results confirm predictable continuity, grade, and width across five gold-rich zones comprising 46 distinct stacked lodes and veins, all remaining open for expansion. Visible gold to the naked eye (VG-NE) is found in 92% of drill holes to date, in three distinct rock packages: gold-rich veins and breccias in sedimentary units, gold-rich veins in volcanic units, and gold-rich intermediate to felsic Eocene-aged vertical dykes.
Roger Rosmus, Founder and CEO of Goliath, stated: "Our team is convinced that we have a unique high-grade gold discovery highlighted by 46 gold-rich stacked gently dipping lodes and veins, resulting in five major mineralized zones defined and modeled based on over 1,500 pierce points. A good analogy is the Pogo Mine in Alaska. To find VG-NE in three distinct rock packages is representative of a high-energy gold mineralizing system. It is rare to find gold mineralization in 100% of drill holes, and even rarer to see 92% containing VG-NE. This puts the Surebet discovery in a unique category."
Goliath is working with the Colorado School of Mines, which has conducted extensive age dating and temperature analysis of the Surebet Discovery. The company intends to drill test lateral extensions of the southeast and southwest gently dipping stacked lodes and veins, as well as test for the Motherlode feeder source in the 2026 campaign. The last major high-grade gold discovery in the Golden Triangle that resulted in a producing mine is the Brucejack project, now one of Newmont's highly-rated gold mines. The team believes that based on the geological characteristics, they are on track to have the next one.
