GoldHaven Completes Inaugural 1,085m Drill Program at Copeçal, Hits Sulphides
GoldHaven Drills Sulphide Mineralisation at Copeçal Project

Vancouver-based GoldHaven Resources Corp. has announced the successful completion of its inaugural diamond drilling program at the Copeçal Gold Project, marking a significant first for the property. The campaign, which wrapped up in December 2025, saw a total of nine drill holes completed for 1,085.7 metres, targeting two high-priority gold-in-soil anomalies.

Key Intersections at the East Target

The company reported encouraging visual sulphide mineralisation at the Eastern Target. The highlight was hole COPE-PDH-004, which intersected chalcopyrite and pyrite over an approximate 30-metre interval. A follow-up hole, COPE-PDH-009, drilled to test this zone further, hit a roughly 5-metre interval containing bornite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite.

This discovery is particularly notable as it represents the first identified occurrence of bornite at Copeçal. Geologists interpret this as evidence of multi-phase hydrothermal fluid activity, providing a crucial geological vector to guide future exploration and targeting on the property.

Findings at the West Target and Next Steps

Drilling at the Western Target revealed a deep saprolite (weathered rock) profile, with weathering extending down to approximately 60 metres. This condition suggests potential for gold mineralisation within the saprolite itself or from the oxidation of primary sulphide minerals at depth.

All drill core from the program is currently being logged and sampled. The samples are slated for submission to ALS Laboratories for assay prior to the end of the year. The market eagerly awaits these quantitative results to understand the full significance of the visual mineralisation reported.

Strategic Location and Program Details

The Copeçal Project is situated within the prolific Alta Floresta gold province in Brazil, a region known for hosting significant gold deposits and active competitors. The completed drill holes, their coordinates, depths, and other statistics are detailed in the company's release, confirming the technical execution of this initial phase.

This maiden drill program represents a foundational step for GoldHaven in advancing the Copeçal Project. The intersection of sulphides, including the copper-bearing bornite and chalcopyrite, provides tangible, early signs of a mineralising system at work, setting the stage for follow-up exploration based on the pending assay results.
