G2 Goldfields Announces Major New Gold Discoveries in Guyana, Expands Drilling Program
G2 Goldfields Announces New Gold Discoveries in Guyana

G2 Goldfields Inc., a prominent mining company, has unveiled exciting new gold discoveries at its high-grade OKO Gold Project in Guyana, alongside a comprehensive corporate update. The company is currently executing an ambitious 100,000-meter drilling program, targeted for completion by the end of the year, aimed at expanding mineral resources and advancing project development.

Exploration Success and Drilling Highlights

Recent drilling and trenching activities north of the existing high-grade OMZ resource have yielded significant oxide intercepts, underscoring the project's potential. Key results include a drill intercept of 66 meters at 0.9 grams per tonne of gold from hole OKND 30 and a trench intercept of 6 meters at 4.1 grams per tonne of gold from ONCH 3. These findings highlight the continuity of gold mineralization in the area.

Additionally, a new discovery at the "Sands" target area has delivered promising near-surface, oxidized drill intercepts. Notable results feature 24 meters at 2.5 grams per tonne of gold from NWOD 70, 5 meters at 4.8 grams per tonne of gold from NWOD 69, and 21.4 meters at 0.5 grams per tonne of gold from NWOD 75. These discoveries reinforce the OKO Project's status as a top-tier gold resource with substantial exploration upside.

Corporate Update and Strategic Plans

G2 Goldfields is actively progressing its exploration campaigns in parallel with early works programs, environmental studies, and geotechnical assessments. The objective is to further define and de-risk the mining operation, with plans to complete a Feasibility Study and make a formal construction decision by mid-2027. The company recently published a Preliminary Economic Assessment outlining the potential for a 10,000 tonne-per-day gold mining operation, projecting total production of 3.2 million ounces of gold over a 14-year mine life at all-in sustaining costs of US$1,232 per ounce.

Drilling Operations and Resource Expansion

Currently, G2 has two drilling contractors on site operating six fully functional drill rigs, with two additional rigs expected to be added next month to accelerate the program. Four rigs are dedicated to resource expansion and exploration, while two rigs focus on upgrading Inferred mineral resources to Indicated status for inclusion in the upcoming Feasibility Study. This robust drilling effort supports the company's goal of expanding known gold mineralization along the over 15-kilometer OKO trend and exploring new greenfields discoveries on the rapidly developing 20-kilometer Aremu gold trend.

The ongoing exploration success not only confirms the extension of meaningful gold mineralization down-plunge of existing resources but also generates new discovery opportunities, positioning the OKO Project as a world-class gold exploration camp. With these developments, G2 Goldfields continues to demonstrate its commitment to unlocking value and advancing its strategic objectives in the mining sector.
