Fredonia Expands El Dorado–Monserrat District to 33,500 Ha

Fredonia Mining Inc. has completed a strategic acquisition of mineral properties from a Pan American Silver subsidiary, expanding its El Dorado–Monserrat (EDM) gold-silver project in Argentina to approximately 33,500 hectares. The deal adds 11,754 hectares, connecting the northern and southern corridors of the district.

Strategic Expansion

The acquired properties include the Jaguel I, Mamuel I, Mamuel II, Curru Cura II, Curru Cura III, and Cahuel I mining rights. This increases Fredonia's land position by over 50%, from roughly 21,800 hectares to 33,500 hectares. The transaction consolidates a continuous structural trend in the Deseado Massif, Santa Cruz Province.

Prior Exploration Data

The newly acquired ground comes with existing technical datasets, including mapping, trenching, and limited drilling. This provides a valuable starting point for integrating the area into Fredonia's district-scale model. The company aims to evaluate the EDM system as a true district-scale gold-silver opportunity.

Management Commentary

Estanislao Auriemma, CEO of Fredonia, stated: "This acquisition represents a key milestone. By adding approximately 11,754 hectares, we have taken an important step toward connecting the northern and southern corridors and controlling a highly prospective structural trend." He emphasized that the prior exploration work gives the company a technical advantage.

District Consolidation

The acquisition builds on Fredonia's recent consolidation of the Judite and Saturno properties. Judite is adjacent to the Cerro Vanguardia mining area, while Saturno extends the district southward. Together, these properties form an integrated platform for geological evaluation and exploration prioritization.

The expanded district now covers a continuous gold-silver corridor, strengthening Fredonia's position in one of Argentina's most prolific precious metals regions. The company plans to advance development scenarios based on the newly unified land package.
