Aventis Energy Launches Maiden Drilling at Corvo Uranium Project, Targeting High-Grade Manhattan Showing
Aventis Energy Drills Corvo Uranium Project's High-Grade Manhattan

Aventis Energy Commences Inaugural Drilling at Corvo Uranium Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Aventis Energy Inc. has officially initiated mobilization for its maiden diamond drilling campaign at the Corvo Uranium Project, located in the prolific eastern Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan. The winter 2026 program represents a significant milestone for the company as it prepares to test high-priority uranium targets, including the notable Manhattan Showing.

Strategic Focus on High-Grade Manhattan Showing

The drilling program will concentrate on the Manhattan Showing, an area distinguished by exceptional surface mineralization. Recent grab samples from outcrops have returned uranium oxide (U3O8) grades as high as 8.10%, highlighting the project's substantial potential. This showing aligns with a northeast-southwest trending electromagnetic corridor that coincides with low gravity anomalies, characteristic of Athabasca-style uranium deposits.

Michael Mulberry, Chief Executive Officer of Aventis Energy, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming operations. "We are very excited to announce the start of our 2026 drilling program, which will focus on testing the high-grade Manhattan Showing at depth and a number of high-priority shallow targets identified from our recent exploration programs," Mulberry stated. "Alongside Standard Uranium, we are eager to reach this milestone and we look forward to sharing our findings."

Program Details and Exploration Targets

The drilling campaign is planned to encompass approximately 3,000 metres of skid-supported diamond drilling, distributed across eight to ten drill holes. Key aspects of the program include:

  • Mobilization and Site Access: Base diamond drilling personnel have commenced road construction to establish project access, with the drilling crew scheduled to arrive at the site by the end of the week.
  • High-Priority Targets: Targets were refined through integration of 2025 high-resolution geophysical surveys and historical data, focusing on shallow uranium mineralization.
  • Exploration of Northwestern Corridor: The program will also explore the untapped potential of the northwestern electromagnetic corridor, which extends for several kilometres along strike from the Manhattan Showing.

Project Location and Geological Context

The Corvo Project is strategically positioned 60 kilometres east of Cameco's McArthur River mine, one of the world's largest high-grade uranium deposits, and 45 kilometres northeast of Atha Energy's Gemini Mineralized Zone. This location within the Athabasca Basin, renowned for its uranium-rich geology, enhances the project's prospectivity for significant discoveries.

The scientific and technical information in this announcement has been reviewed and approved by Sean Hillacre, P.Geo., President and VP Exploration of Standard Uranium Ltd., a qualified person as defined in NI 43-101 standards.

This drilling initiative marks a critical step for Aventis Energy as it seeks to unlock the uranium potential of the Corvo Project, contributing to Canada's position as a global leader in uranium exploration and mining.
