OPP Charge Man with Impaired Driving After Lakeshore Crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 41-year-old Woodslee man with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision in Lakeshore. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Lakeshore Road 113.

Details of the Incident

Officers responded to a call reporting a vehicle in a ditch. Upon arrival, they arrested and charged the driver with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with a demand. The accused was also issued a 90-day driver's license suspension, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Court Appearance

The man is scheduled to appear in court in July 2026 to face the charges.
