DXC Technology has announced the general availability of DXC Private Cloud+, a hybrid private cloud solution designed to offer enterprises and governments greater control, security, and flexibility for sensitive and regulated workloads. Powered by Dell Technologies infrastructure—including servers, storage, and cyber resilience solutions—and operated by DXC OASIS, the intelligent orchestration platform, Private Cloud+ aims to bridge the gap between public cloud agility and private cloud governance.
Meeting Evolving Enterprise Cloud Needs
As organizations increasingly adopt multi-cloud strategies to address governance, security, data sovereignty, and industry-specific requirements, DXC Private Cloud+ provides a unified platform that connects data centers, integrates with public clouds, and prepares for AI workloads. The solution supports both traditional and AI workloads, making it suitable for data-intensive industries such as financial services, healthcare, public sector, and manufacturing.
“Customers across industries from manufacturing to transportation, insurance and more want hyperscale economics, flexibility, and AI-readiness in a true hybrid environment, one that works across what they already run and the public clouds they depend on. Until now, they’ve had to compromise. Private Cloud+, powered by Dell and operated by DXC OASIS, ends that trade-off and enables them to be ready as AI workloads increase,” said Chris Drumgoole, President, Global Infrastructure Services, DXC.
Key Features and Benefits
Private Cloud+ offers consumption-based economics, allowing enterprises to pay for what they use while maintaining full control over sensitive data. It supports a wide range of workloads, including virtual machines, containers, data storage, backup and resiliency, and private AI. The solution is hosted in DXC’s own data centers and orchestrated by DXC OASIS with a Human+ approach, combining automated operations with human oversight.
The platform is available in three editions, enabling enterprises to choose the deployment model that matches their workload, tenancy, and compliance needs. This flexibility helps organizations reduce technical debt, strengthen security, and accelerate time-to-production for new applications.
Industry Impact and Availability
DXC Private Cloud+ is now generally available, targeting regulated and data-intensive industries that require sovereign, compliant, and AI-ready environments. By combining the economics and agility of hyperscale public clouds with the control of private cloud, the solution addresses the growing demand for hybrid cloud options that do not compromise on security or governance.
According to DXC, the solution is built for enterprises and governments running sensitive and regulated workloads, offering built-in support for sovereign and compliant environments. The announcement underscores the trend toward multi-cloud portfolios that provide greater choice and control in an era where data security and compliance are paramount.
