The city has climbed to No. 2 on Uber's latest Lost and Found Index, ranking as Canada's second-most forgetful municipality, behind only Saskatoon. Riders are still misplacing the usual phones, wallets and keys, but passports and jewelry are also making the list.

Windsor's most forgetful day last year was Dec. 7, though nationally, Halloween weekend proved to be the busiest time for lost items, with Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 both ranking among the top days. New Year's Day also made the list.

The report also found that Uber XL riders are 2.6 times more likely to forget something than those using standard UberX rides, suggesting larger groups may be a factor.

Across Canada, Saskatoon was the most forgetful, followed by Windsor and Regina. Ottawa, Toronto and Calgary were among the least forgetful cities.

The annual Lost and Found Index is based on data collected from rider reports of missing items and offers a snapshot of habits across the country.
