A fire that tore through a duplex in Windsor's west end late Thursday has left four people homeless and caused an estimated $500,000 in damages, according to Windsor Fire and Rescue Services.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Curry Avenue. The fire caused extensive structural damage, making it difficult for investigators to determine the cause.

Officials confirmed that no injuries occurred, but four residents were displaced by the fire. The cause of the blaze remains undetermined, and investigators were still at the scene late Friday morning.
“The cause is listed as undetermined,” officials wrote in a social media post. “Extensive structural damage hindered the investigation.”
