Yardi has announced three new payment processing capabilities for Canadian property managers using the Voyager platform. The enhancements include same-day and next-day card settlement, pay by link, and payment terminals, all designed to streamline operations and encourage card adoption.
New Features Address Common Concerns
The updates target the primary reasons property managers have hesitated to accept card payments: settlement timing and operational complexity. With same-day and next-day settlement, card payments now match the timeline of electronic funds transfers, improving cash flow and reconciliation processes.
Pay by link allows property managers to send payment requests via email or QR code, enabling tenants to pay without logging into a portal—ideal for one-time payments and move-in transactions. Payment terminals bring tap-to-pay functionality to leasing offices, fully integrated with Yardi Voyager for automatic posting and reconciliation.
Native Integration
All three capabilities are native to Yardi Voyager, requiring no additional logins or third-party integrations. This seamless integration reduces operational friction for property managers.
Peter Altobelli, president of Yardi Canada Ltd., stated: “Canadian property managers have been clear about the barrier to card adoption: settlement timing. Same-day and next-day settlement addresses that directly, and pay by link and payment terminals round out what clients have been asking for. These aren’t incremental additions; they reflect where Canadian operators are and what they need to run efficiently.”

Yardi will host a complimentary live webinar on June 16, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET, where Ryan Edwards and Ali Mazhar will demonstrate the new features and answer questions. Registration is open to Canadian Voyager clients.
