Four Seasons and Blasson to Open Hotel in Sevilla by 2028

Four Seasons, the global luxury hospitality leader, has announced a partnership with Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson to develop a new hotel in Sevilla, Spain. Set to open in 2028, Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will be located in the iconic Plaza Nueva, in the heart of the city's historic Arenal Quarter.

A New Landmark in Andalucía's Capital

The hotel will occupy a landmark building dating back to the mid-20th century, which will undergo a complete revitalization. The property will feature approximately 55 guest rooms across five intimate floors, with accommodations ranging from 40 to 117 square metres (430 to 1,260 square feet), including an expansive Presidential Suite. Guests can expect skyline views, open-air terraces, and completely reimagined interiors.

Design and Architecture

Architecture will be led by Madrid-based Lamela, while interiors will be crafted by AD100 honouree Belén Domecq. The design aims to reflect the spirit of Sevilla while delivering the elevated service and genuine care that Four Seasons is known for.

Dining and Amenities

Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla will introduce three new distinct outlets: a street-level restaurant with direct access to Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar offering expansive city views, and a dynamic ground-floor lounge. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness centre, and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Sevilla's historic skyline.

Strategic Growth in Spain

This expansion builds on the success of Four Seasons' award-winning properties in Madrid and Mallorca. Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons, stated, 'Sevilla is a city defined by its culture, history, and beauty, and it is a privilege to introduce Four Seasons to this remarkable destination.' Enrique Benjumea, Founding Partner of Blasson, added, 'Our investment in Sevilla reflects our confidence in its continued growth as a leading destination for luxury tourism.'

Sevilla as a Premier Destination

Sevilla attracts nearly five million visitors annually, offering a dynamic blend of history, architecture, and year-round cultural highlights. The city is easily accessible by high-speed rail, air, and road, just 2.5 hours from Madrid, with its airport serving a growing number of European and international routes. The hotel's central location places it near UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Sevilla Cathedral, Archivo de Indias, and Royal Alcázar.
