Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Union of National Defence Employees (UNDE) have successfully negotiated a three-year collective agreement with Sodexo on behalf of workers at 15 Wing Moose Jaw. The agreement was reached on Wednesday morning, bringing an end to the bargaining process.
The new contract covers employees at the military base who provide various services under Sodexo's management. Details of the agreement have not been fully disclosed, but it is expected to address wages, benefits, and working conditions.
PSAC and UNDE representatives expressed satisfaction with the outcome, highlighting the collaborative effort between the union and the employer. Sodexo officials also welcomed the agreement, emphasizing their commitment to fair labor practices.
The agreement comes after months of negotiations and ensures labor stability at the base for the next three years. Workers are expected to vote on the ratification of the contract in the coming days.
