TeamViewer DEX Platform Achieves FedRAMP 'In Process' Designation
TeamViewer DEX Platform Gets FedRAMP 'In Process' Status

TeamViewer has announced a significant milestone in its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) journey. The company's Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform has successfully achieved the 'In Process' designation, marking its official listing in the FedRAMP Marketplace. This marketplace serves as the public registry of cloud services that are either certified or undergoing certification for use by U.S. federal government agencies.

Implications for Federal Agencies

With this designation, TeamViewer can now offer its DEX platform to federal agencies, providing them with the ability to securely improve IT operations and user experience across their organizations. The platform offers real-time visibility into endpoint performance, automated remediation capabilities, and actionable insights to enhance the digital employee experience in distributed environments.

Security Assessment and Partnerships

The 'In Process' status confirms that TeamViewer has completed a comprehensive security assessment by a Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) and a review by its sponsoring agency, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Key partners in this process include Project Hosts, which provided GSSOne infrastructure and continuous monitoring, and RapidFort, which addressed hardened container images and FIPS 140-3 requirements.
